National Curriclum 2014

You will find below the National Curriculum (2014) statutory requirements, for each year group, mapped by core subjects. The documents show the statutory areas that the children must be taught by year group for the core subjects (English, Maths and Science).

As of September 2014 there is a new National Curriculum.  There have been some changes in the curriculum children are taught.  There is a greater emphasis on challenging pupils learning and higher expectations of their new learning.

Please use the links below to find out what your child will be learning this year.

If you have any questions regarding your pupil’s progress or learning please see either your child’s class teacher, the Literacy co-ordinator, Mrs Marshall and Mrs Brennan, the Science co-ordinator, Miss Bolger or the Numeracy co-ordinator, Mr Gilchrist.
