This week 2 lovely goats from Woodlands Animal Sanctuary came to our Nursery. We learned that goats communicate with each other by bleating, that young goats are called Kids, that a goats eye is rectangular rather than round and many more interesting Goat facts.
This week in Nursery we talked about the role of a vet and how they take care of injured animals. We learnt some new words and used our imagination to act out scenarios of a Jungle Vet taking care of an injured animal. The children enjoyed writing reports about the animal injuries!
This week we welcomed some new children into our class. Children enjoyed reading "Rumble in the Jungle" book by Giles Andreae and learning new vocabulary. We also painted, counted and discussed jungle animals together.
