This weekend is Remembrance Sunday and in Nursery we have been reflecting on what that means when you are three. We took part in the school's Remembrance Service today in the playground and I must say that your children were silent and respectful. They may not fully understand the act Remembrance and I don't think at three years that they fully should, but they knew today was an important time for us to be thankful and think of others.
We have made a poppy wreath with our hands that will be taken to the Fallowfield War Memorial tonight.
When you have a child you dream of what they may become and have endless dreams and hopes for their futures. Every soldier that has given their life serving our country had a parent who would have had dreams and hopes for a future that they sadly did not get to live.
They gave their today so our children could have their tomorrow.
Enjoy your weekend with your lovely children.
