It always amazes us in Nursery how the children view the world around them. Our children in our Nursery are no exception.
This week we have been reading Farmer Duck, where there is a very lazy farmer who gets the duck to do all the work on the farm. I hasten to add that the farmer does not get away with this behaviour for long and all of the animals join forces to throw him out of bed. The children have been exploring animals that we might find on a farm and they were asked to recreate an animal using paint and some real life pictures. Sabboor created the 'work of the week', with his painting of a brown cow.
Romeo has also been very busy this week and has blasted himself into outer space. He made a super rocket and came to me to tell me that he would be leaving in five minutes to go to space. He promptly came back and told me that it was time for him to go and that I should say goodbye. How lovely it must be to be three years old, where the world is whatever you want it to be and the possibilities are endless.
Another lovely week for the adults and the children.
