The children have been busy this week in Maths. They have been learning how to double, half and share numbers up to 10.
The children have really understood the concept and have been applying this during their independent learning time.
It would be great if you could work on this at home over the weekend.
The children had a fantastic day at Manchester Museum on Wednesday. We got to explore the whole museum and saw lots of different creatures, bones and fossils.
The curiosity that your children displayed was nothing short of astounding and they have taken in all of the learning that has happened throughout the topic.
Members of the public kept approaching us and complimenting our children on their behaviour throughout the day.
It made us feel ever so proud to be their teachers.
We hope the children had a lovely Christmas holiday and are ready to learn.
Our new topic is about dinosaurs and is called 'Land before Time' - the children will be very busy this half term exploring these mighty creatures that lived millions of years ago!
What a fantastic performance!
The children acted out the Christmas story with great enthusiasm. They sang beautifully, spoke their lines clearly and acted out their parts superbly.
Well done Reception!
