We have been uncovering some magnificent facts surrounding the great Anglo-Saxon ship burial site this week!
Sutton Hoo was such an important discovery as so many treasures were found of great value.
This indicates that an important person was buried there. Historians believe it was the grave of King Raedwold.
We will be using our recently excavated facts to help us write newspaper stories about the event from the 1939 archaeological dig!
This week's homework is also asking you to dig deeper to share more learning about Sutton Hoo! Enjoy your history task Year 4N :-)
