We loved our visit form the director of The Children's Shakespeare Company on Tuesday this week and were acting, singing and jigging our socks off!
We entered the transformed Dreamzone and felt like we were in the middle of a storm in a lonely heath. We met a messenger who shared some letters and maps with us. He gave us some clues about the characters we would get to know next term from the Shakespeare play 'King Lear'!
We made some excellent group freeze-frames, some entertaining actions for the main characters with powerfully performed words and planned a route for the messenger to travel safely to deliver his mysterious letters.
We learnt a song and even a jig that you can see on stage at The Lowry before the end of the school year! We can't wait to get this show on the road and learn more about this tragic and entertaining play.
T'will be a storm! (after all we do live in Manchester!)
