This half term Class 10 are working on descriptive language.
One cool, foggy morning, we went for a stroll in the empty playground. We used our senses to create descriptive phrases for our setting.
Some of the writing we have created during this unit has been superb and we hope to show it off!
Here's a sneak preview...Class 10 may be able to guess the author!
"Lifting myself up, everything rotated around. Mist was all I could see. Tension squeezed my skin. Suddenly, I crept forward as ice crumbled off the trees. Immediately, wolves howled out loudly. My blood shot cold, sweat dripped down my head. Bare trees swished and hurled as if they whispered. Quickly, the weather got worse. Snow tossed and turned, it was so mighty that an aged tree fell and hit the ground! Cautiously, evil laughter appeared and faded away in the distance. I walked ahead."
I'm looking forward to reading on!
