Welcome back! I hope everyone had a restful and peaceful Christmas break. This new year holds much excitement for our class as you finish your time in primary school. I look forward to starting 2020 with you all and helping you to start this new stage in your lives.
In Art and Design lessons this half-term, we created silhouettes with chalk backgrounds. We studied the work of Austin Edouart and developed our ability to blend chalk. This knowledge was then combined with our 'Evolution and Inheritance' learning from Science. This is the final outcome...
We have met a range of new vocabulary in our topic of 'Evolution and Inheritance'.
We start every lesson with a Times Tables focus. A favourite game of ours is Hit the Button. Why not play at home?
This week, you must learn the square and cube numbers from 1 - 12. I would like you to know these off by heart as this will speed up your arithmetic. You have the posters inside your Homework Diary to help you.
These will be tested on Friday.
This section from BBC Bitesize will also help.
CGP Arithmetic (Light green): Pages 13, 14, 15, 16.

Leave a comment and let me know how you have found the homework.
