We placed white circles on a white and newspaper background. We observed how many of each circle we could pick up in 15 seconds. The white circles on the newspaper background were easier to spot so more of them were picked up. In the same way, animals and plants which adapt to their environment are less likely to be killed by predators.
This week we have learnt how to create a powerpoint using custom animation. Our powerpoints will be used to teach year five about changing reported to direct speech. Here's an example.
Reported speech: Bob said that he wanted to go home.
Direct speech: Bob said, " I want to go home."

" In Flanders Field".
