On Thursday pupils in year 6 were each given an evacuee character to memorise. They had to imagine they were meeting up years later as adults to discuss their individual experiences of evacuation. Our evacuees had a range of experiences. Some evacuees had a better time than they had at home;others were treated cruelly.
This week year 6F held a debate as to which character in the parable of the Prodigal Son showed the most unconditional love. After hearing the arguments for and against, the pupils unanimously voted for the father.
