It has been lovely getting to know my new class over the past few weeks. I am extremely impressed with the children’s attitude towards learning and how well they have settled back into school life. This year is going to be great!
Year 5 have been making the most of the weather this week by learning outside: they carried out an investigation on air resistance and gravity and made a river in the playground to investigate erosion, transportation and deposition.
Aspiring to be creative!
5TM has hosted a whole range of guests this week including: drama teachers; musicians; creative events organisers; actors and much more. The questions posed by the class really challenged our visitors at times as we probed to see why entering into a creative industry can be so exciting. I'm sure, after this Creative Aspirations Week, we'll be seeing some creative minds from St. Kentigern's in the future!
