2019-2020 Assessment Data
Statutory assessment in 2020 was cancelled due to Covid - 19
Cancellation of the phonics screening check in June 2020 means incoming year 2 pupils did not take the check in year 1. Schools will administer a past version of the check to year 2 pupils during the second half of the 2020 autumn term. Year 2 pupils who meet the expected standard in the autumn check will not be required to complete any further statutory assessments in phonics. Year 2 pupils who do not meet the expected standard in the autumn check will be expected to take the statutory check in June 2021.

Progress
Progress over Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) is now measured by comparing children’s Key Stage 1 teacher assessment figures with their Key Stage 2 SATs scores (or Teacher Assessments in writing) with a score of ‘0’ representing expected progress (based on similar pupils nationally) and anything above this showing more than the expected progress. The table below shows the school’s progress figures.
