Caritas in Action

Caritas in Action Award
This week, our Caritas in Action Award has been given to Lyanna for showing great kindness, love, care and affection to another child when they needed it. This is a wonderful way of demonstrating the Catholic Social Teaching principle of Family and Community.

This week, our Caritas in Action Award has been given to Alyssa, she always shows wonderful patience and kindness to all her friends in class, but she enjoys helping one particular friend every day. This demonstrates the Catholic social teaching of family and community.

This week, our Caritas in Action Award has been given to Daphne for being an outstanding role model to other pupils. This demonstrates the Catholic social teaching of family and community. Daphne was also was the recipient of the Nell Jones Reading Award which she received from Wood Street Mission

This week, our Caritas in Action Award has been given to Keane. Keane's positive attitude and infectious smile have lit up the classroom this week. His kind and considerate attitude to everyone has brightened up a rainy week. Keane has shown wonderful resilience, perseverance and great love for others. This demonstrates the Catholic social teaching of family and community.

This week, our Caritas in Action Award has been given to the Year 5 Business team for raising funds through their enterprise scheme which they then donated to Wood Street Mission. This demonstrates the Catholic social teaching of Solidarity and the Common Good.
