St Kentigern's

R.C Primary School

Our GIFT (Growing in Faith Together) Team was established in 2019. The GIFT Team is made up of children from Year Four to Year Six who each volunteered for this special role. The children were commissioned at Salford Cathedral on 23rd January 2020.  They support the staff with delivering prayer and worship across the school for example through leading collective worship, running prayer groups, and leading liturgies. The team also supports the Year 3 children with their Sacramental Program. The GIFT Team works closely with Cannon Michael to develop links between our school and the Parish Community.

The GIFT Team attended the Year of the Word Event at St Ann's Parish Centre in Stretford. They enjoyed meeting with other schools and sharing ideas about how they can celebrate the Year of Word in our school.
